More Sophie

First Day of Preschool

Sophie started preschool last Friday. We are doing it with some other children from church and holding it at a different houses each week, so I will get to teach it here once every 5-6 weeks. My first time is this Friday and I am very excited. When I dropped Sophie off Friday, she went right in without any problems, but when I picked her up, she looked like she wasn't so sure about things, although her teacher said she did really well. She is the youngest in the class, but I know that she will love it once she gets used to being away from mom and having to share with other little people.

Fancy Sophie

Aunt Brittany suggested we read the book "Fancy Nancy" by Jane O'Connor. Sophie loved it and this is her trying to be "Fancy Sophie". (Like she needs any more encouragement.)

By her Piggy Bank
Ever since Grandpa and Grandma came to visit in October, Sophie has wanted a piggy bank. She finally got one for Christmas and she loves it. I've learned that coins are a really good motivater for her these days. Thanks for the cute dress Aunt Amy-she looks absolutely adorable in it.

Pajama Girl

This is the outfit that Sophie chose to wear on Thursday. It is warm fleecy winter jammies under a pair of summer jammies. I was really sick that day(darn flu), so as long as she was covered I didn't care. She loves her jammies and it is not uncommon for her to want to wear multiple pairs a day-if a drop of water gets on them, she thinks they are dirty and needs a new pair.

I love your new layout! I have been waiting for a new post to see this cute girl. I got her some Fancy Nancy books for her birthday. If you already have them let me know and I will get her something else.

We don't have any Fancy Nancy books-just from the library. She will LOVE them!
