2!!!

Evan turned 2 last Friday! It's hard to believe that he is already two! We celebrated by opening presents and having cake and ice cream. Then the next night we had a few friends over who also have boys who were born with 5 days of Evan and had pizza and cupcakes and ice cream. Evan loves his little buddies!

Some things about Evan at 2:
-He loves to tease his sister (and anybody else he can get a reaction out of.).
-He loves cars(especially lighting McQueen and Mater, but anything with 4 wheels will work), trains and balls. Oh and Elmo (but what 2 year old doesn't?)
-He is always on the go- climbing, jumping, tackling. He's a big ball of energy.
-He still loves to run away when we are out and doesn't look back.(I'm really hoping he outgrows this soon)
-He sleeps about 12 hours a night and will nap about half the time-usually for 3 or so hours. The other half of the time he plays in his room, kicks his wall, jumps on his bed, rocks in his chair, slams his closet door and anything else he can do in his room until I let him out after an hour or so( I figure if he hasn't fallen asleep after an hour, he's not going to.)
-Has a major sweet tooth, but still loves most fruits and a lot of veggies. He still loves blueberries and grapes. He also loves string cheese, juice and milk.
-He talks in full sentences (most of which I can understand, not sure about other people).
-Has absolutely no interest in potty training...
-He loves to sing and knows a ton of songs. It's awesome when he walks around the house belting out the words to songs I didn't have a clue that he knew.
-He is very mischievous and unfortunately enjoys writing on walls,furniture and carpet and getting into Sophie's room and playing with her things when she is not home. It seems like he is always destroying something-often to the point that we can't repair them. I don't think he is trying to be naughty though(most of the time, He's just super curious and loves to figure out how things work.
-He can do puzzles like no other two year old I've ever met. (except maybe his Cousin Jon-I seem to remember him always be great at puzzles.)
-He's learning his ABC's and can recognize probably half of them.
-He really enjoys playing with friends. Two of his favorites are his buddies Grant and Hallie. I love how excited he gets when he knows he is going to see them.
-Did I mention he loves to tease his sister...I think Sophie's screaming in the other room is my cue to go...

We sure love this little boy!!!
