Our little swimmer

Last summer when Sophie took swimming lessons, she was scared of the water and wouldn't put her face under, jump in from the side or really do anything that her teacher wanted her to do. We decided to try again last month to see if she would do any better and luckily she has really excelled. Her class is smaller this time and a few times she has been the only student(and we all know how Sophie thrives on individual attention). She can swim at least half way down our pool at the Y(not sure how long it is) and float on her back farther than that. She also is very strong at the side stroke. She can jump off the side and get safely back to side all by herself. It's been really fun to see how much she has progressed from last summer until now. I think she already can swim better than me! So proud of our little swimmer!
