Yesterday was the final race for the fall GOTR season. We signed Sophie up so that she could run the race , since she has been attending practice all year. Pat ran as her running buddy. I think that she had fun.
Our family after the race. Notice Evan has stolen my bagel.

My good friend Danielle helped out by being a running buddy for one of the girls on our team. Why does she look so good still and I look like I just ran a marathon?

The only picture I got of Sophie running. This is right before the finish line. She doesn't look all that happy, but apparently the expression on her face when she saw me cheering for her brought tears of tenderness to the eyes of some of the other spectators around me. Too bad I was so busy trying to get my ancient camera to take a picture.

Sophie and Daddy after the race.

Evan's crazy hat hair at the park after the race.

Sophie's cute curly hair from church today. The curls worked better than they have for a while and were still in before bedtime.

My favorite people pre-race.

Me and the little girl who I was running with. She's such a sweet girl.

A couple of random pictures of Evan sitting in the car while we were waiting for Sophie to get done with preschool the other day. He's got such a fun personality and I am grateful for the little bits of one on one time I get with him every so often.

Becky,
How fun! I can't believe Sophie ran 3 miles. Good for her. I know lots of adults that can't/won't do that. How are you doing? I have been meaning to email you and I use the excuse that my life is crazy...but I suppose that isn't really a good reason... Happy Thanksgiving!
I am impressed. We are supposed to run a 5K on Thanksgiving, so I went running a few days last week and about passed out both times. Sophie is adorable and I know what you mean bout not getting one on one time with the baby.Miss you.
