Yep, that's our front yard.
We noticed a little leak coming from our main water pipe in the basement last night, and heard some hissing from outside the foundation. We have a hole in the water line outside and need to have it replaced from the water meter by the sidewalk to the house. After talking to some neighbors, we found out that this has been a common problem in our neighborhood and most have had to replace it. Oh, if only we weren't so naive and had done more research before we bought the house. Unfortunately, it is not a cheap repair and we don't have water while they are fixing it(and gas right now, since they hit a gas line). I sure hope they get it done before weekend or we will have to take our baths in Sophie's wading pool so we can come to church on sunday.
