On November 19, Sophie "ran" the Girls on the Run 5k. It took us nearly an hour. In her defense, she had been sick with Laryngitis all week and still had a bit of a sore throat and cough. I tried to convince her to let me push her in the jogging stroller, but she insisted on "running" it. Anyway, here's a little video of when we were halfway through the race. It's funny because in practice when we would give the girls lap counters-like bracelets or beads- Sophie was all over running and could easily do 1 and 1/2 miles without stopping. However during the race I felt like I was dragging her the whole 5K. I guess I just needed the right incentives! We did have fun out on the streets of Cincinnati, though!
Sophie has also been doing a little ballet class with some of her friends from the Eastgate ward. They performed last night at their Christmas party. It was rather entertaining. I didn't have a very good view to video from, but I did the best I could. She was so cute! She was doing everything she could to not bust into a big smile. One of her best little friends from our ward came and watched her dance and it made her feel so special!
