Here are some pictures of some of the things we did to celebrate the big 5!!! I made a cake.(but don't look to closely, since we don't really eat cake, I just used leftover cupcakes from preschool and a couple of small loaf pans of cake to make a not very pretty palace. We ate maybe 1/4 of it and threw it away the next day, but the icing was good!)

Took Sophie and one of her friends to see "Tangled" at the dollar theater.
A five year check-up. She has been looking forward to this for months. She got shots to be ready for kindergarten in the fall and didn't even cry a tear-until the next morning when her leg was stiff and sore. She weighed 41 lbs and was 43 1/2 inches tall.
We prepared for her princess birthday party.
Making the homemade pinata; We realized too late that our great plan to make a flower was not going to work out, but I think we know what to do, if we ever need to make a flower pinata again!
It was still a hit...

Happy 5th Birthday Sophie!!! Growing up so fast!
How fun!! it looks like everyone, including the neglected boy, had a good time. I'm glad to know that I"m not the only one to throw out uneaten dessert.
