We made Valentine's sugar cookies the Friday before Valentine's Day. One of my favorite traditions I remember from growing up is that my mom would make sugar cookies for nearly every holiday and we would frost them and decorate them. Such a fun tradition that I want to pass onto my kids. So much fun and so yummy!
Evan's been keeping us as busy as always. He finds new places to get into and hide in every day. I am sure it will be a lot of work when we come to visit family next month and he has several new houses to explore. You all had better lock up your valuables, "Rampage" is on his way! (or as I hear they call him at child watch at the Y-"The caveman")
We also hit the zoo on one of our 70 degree days last week. I even splurged and bought goat food for 25 cents for the kids to feed the goats. Evan thought it was for him... Evan has learned to say "woof, woof" when he sees a dog, but I think he also thinks goats, cats, and squirrels all say "woof" too. He will be in heaven at Grandma and Grandpa's house with all of their dogs.

I'm glad to see you carry on the tradition! I even made sugar cookie hearts this year! I can't wait to see all of you in a few weeks!
Oh he is cute. He is looking like such a little man and not that little baby he was last time we saw him. He can't hurt much here, Emma is a tornado and recently has found lots of entertainment climbing into the lazy susan and spinning herself around.
