Sophie loves to run and has been wanting to run in a race for a while, so when we heard about a little fun run for kids from some friends at church, we took Sophie down to run in it. It was only like 30 meters and while Sophie understands the concept of competition, I don't think she understands the concept of a race. I explained it to her afterward and she wanted to try again. I kind of wish I had let her figure it out on her own-no need to stoke the competitive fires in my 4 year old. She had a great time though and is looking forward to doing another one.
