The leaves sure have been pretty here over the last couple of weeks. Last week we had a really nice afternoon, so Sophie and I went out and played in the leaves and took some pictures. We had the most beautiful red tree in our yard that day -it looked perfect and brilliant. That night, we got a wind storm and by morning all of the leaves had fallen and the tree was bare. We are so glad we got out to play and take pictures when we did.
Last weekend we also got out and spent several hours raking the leaves in our yard. Although it was hard work and we had a lot more leaves than we thought we were going to, we had a great time. Sophie thought it was so fun to run and jump in the piles of leaves (oh, and empty out the bags as we were trying to fill them) I think fall is such a great time of the year.

Fall is my favorite too, especially when it's sunny and nice enough to go outside but still chilly. Looks like Sophie loves those leaves, I like the top picture the best :) Winter has definitely set in up here, I think the warmest it got today was 33 degrees but it was mostly in the 20's. Brrrrrr....31/2 more months to go!!!
